As the nation will be going into Level 4 lockdown on Wednesday 25th March from midnight, we would like to let you know what you can expect from us as a veterinary clinic, and what we will expect from you, to keep everyone safe from the Covid-19 virus!

We are classed as an essential service so we will be open to you for any food, medication and for appointments for sick or injured animals.  If you are needing any medication or food, please call us in advance to organise this, as we will need to get this ready for you to collect.

We will be limiting people entering our building.  When you arrive at the clinic for an appointment or to collect your pre-ordered goods, the door will be locked, but you may push the door buzzer, knock on the door loudly or call the clinic on (03) 3489728 to let us know you have arrived.  Please be patient at this time as we may be busy and we will attend to you as soon as possible.

A staff member will meet you and will ask you some questions about your pet’s problem. They will have a clipboard to write down any information the vet may need.

A staff member will then take your pet inside for the appointment with the vet.  You will be asked to either wait outside or to wait in your car.  We can also have the vet talk to you on your cellphone while you are waiting outside or in your car.

We do not want people bringing pets to the clinic with minor problems that can wait for 4 weeks. This is to limit the amount of contact with clients and to help stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus. So if your pet’s problem can wait for 4 weeks, we ask you to please stay at home! If you are unsure, please call the clinic and we can talk it through with you.

When coming in to pay, we now have Paywave available.  We have a red line that you must not pass without our permission. We also request everyone keep their 2 metre social distance at all times.

Thank you very much for your understanding at this difficult time. Noho ora mai - Stay safe and well.
